Commercial Properties Management, LLC is looking for a Staff Accountant to join its property management team and contribute to its customer-centric approach.

Essential Functions

Enters data from various source documents in accounting systems

Responsible for posting and reconciling accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions

Maintains the general ledger

Reconcile monthly bank statements and various balance sheet accounts

Develop and maintain customized operating and capital budgets

Prepare customized financial statements and management reports

Skills

Understanding of and the ability to adhere to generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)

Must be detail oriented with extreme attention paid to accuracy.

Professional written and verbal communication skills

Excellent time management and organizational skills

Motivated team player

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Qualifications

Associates Degree in Accounting or related field, required

At least 2 years of related experience required.

Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite, with strong knowledge of Excel

Commercial Real Estate Management experience a plus
