Scope:
This is a temporary role anticipated to last from three to six months.
The Sr. HR Generalist is responsible for administering and implementing all Human Resources programs, policies, and activities for the TTM Santa Clara and San Jose, California Divisions. This role is accountable for achieving corporate HR objectives and goals at the site level and communicating workplace performance and activities to the site Sr. HR Manager.
As an internal management partner, the Sr. HR Generalist guides site leadership teams regarding employee and HR matters. This individual is the key HR representative to employees, answering questions and communicating on payroll, benefits, and policies to the employee population. In this role, you must be able to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times with the ability to change priorities quickly and flawlessly.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- HR point person to address questions, inquiries and provide HR services to employees and managers
- Ensure company policies, procedures, and practices are communicated and consistently applied
- Partner with employees and management in settling disputes, including employee relations, investigations, and performance improvement plans
- Actively partner with managers to understand staffing needs, apply best-recruiting practices, and quickly fill vacancies by leading full-cycle recruitment efforts. Also applicable for internal applications
- Coordinate new hire onboarding, paperwork, and present new hire orientation
- Develop internal and external relationships through collaboration, respect, professionalism, trust, and integrity
- Maintain personnel files in compliance with applicable legal requirements. Keep employee records up to date by processing employee status changes promptly, including maintenance of employee information in the HRIS
- Prepare all exit paperwork and required notifications associated with employee terminations.
- Participate and attend unemployment hearings
- Plan and lead site events, communications, employee meetings, and community-related initiatives
- Administer employee benefits programs and the Leave of Absence program, including LTD disability related requests
- Ensure COVID protocol is followed and coordinate return to work
- Manage the full cycle of timekeeping which includes new employee enrollment, answer employee questions regarding timekeeping issues, approve and sign off on timecards, receive and distribute paychecks, request and distribute manual checks.
- Manage benefits administration which includes conducting open enrollment meetings, new hire benefits administration, research benefit issues and answer employee questions.
- Review workers comp investigations, work restrictions/modified duty and accommodations.

Education and Experience:
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in HR preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of HR Generalist or HRBP experience, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
Compensation and Benefits:
Compensation for roles at TTM Technologies varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience. The base hourly pay range for this position is $33.24 - $55.40. Bonus Potential: None.

Must comply with TTM Export Control Policies and Procedures and all applicable laws including ITAR, EAR and OFAC including but not limited to: a) being able to identify ITAR product on the manufacturing floor and understand that access to these products and related technical data is restricted to only US Citizens and US Permanent Residents; b) recognition of Foreign Person visitors by badge differentiation; c) understand and follow authorization procedures for bringing foreign visitors into facilities (VAL); d) understand the Export and ITAR requirements for shipments leaving the US; e) manage vendor approvals for ITAR manufacturing and services.
