We are seeking an entry (Level - 1) Service/Software Testing Engineer to become an integral part of our team! You will perform End-User remote product software support services, and assigned software product testing duties in order to identify product software issues. This is an entry level position, a successful hire will have the opportunity to learn and advance within the organizational roles.

Responsibilities: (split 50/50 to start)

Testing:

• Perform manual software product Testing, Investigate and recreate reported Issues
• Work collaboratively with the Lead Testing Engineer and the Development team to analyze and troubleshoot software product issues found in testing or in the field.
• Complete assignments on time and communicate timely and accurate status to Lead Testing Engineer
• Track and document all testing defects and resolutions within company applications
• Participate in the design and development for product testing and support

Service:

• Provide initial remote end-user technical software support on all UltraRAD products
• Troubleshoot UltraRAD software applications and resolve client issues
• Coordinate and perform remote product installations
• Provide UltraRAD Product Applications Training to end user clients
• Perform Product/Software updates and create/troubleshoot custom scripts as needed
• Participation in "On-Call" (after hours) support rotation

Qualifications:

• Associates degree or equivalent IT experience
• Fluent understanding of current Microsoft Operating systems
• Good knowledge and experience with PC/Server hardware
• General knowledge and understanding of networking topologies (TCP/IP)
• Strong communications, customer relations, and documentation skills
• Strong technical capabilities, work ethic, and time management (multitasking)
• MS/SQL, knowledge/experience, preferred, but not required
• VB.NET, C#, PHP, ASP.NET, or C++ knowledge/experience, preferred, but not required
• Experience with IIS and web server applications, preferred, but not required
• Experience with DICOM and or HL7, preferred, but not required
• Previous experience in software development, quality assurance, or other related fields, preferred, but not required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
