Western Nevada Supply is looking for an experienced Software Developer to join the IT department at the Blue Team, and support our growing environment. The ideal candidate for this position is a seasoned developer with strong knowledge of PHP/Javascript web applications and use of RESTful API's
Duties & Responsibilities
* Assist in Planning, designing, developing, debuging, implementing and supporting web-based applications and services.
* Modify existing software to: correct errors, allow it to function in new operating environments, or to improve performance.
* Assist in the preparation and documentation of program requirements and specifications.
* Run performance tests on new/existing programs for the purposes of general debugging.
* Improve software quality by conducting systems analysis, and recommending changes in policies and procedures
* Train end users to operate new or modified programs.
* Conduct research on emerging software, languages, and standards in support of ongoing development efforts.
Requirements, Education & Experience
* 4+ years of experience with the following: PHP, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap5+, Familiarity with OOP and the MVC Design Pattern is a major plus!
* Extensive database experience with relational databases including MySQL and SQLServer.
* Good Experience with REST API, JSON, SOAP, OAuth. Experience with Postman & developing API's is a big plus!
* Experience with version controls systems (i.e. GIT, SVN).
* Familiar with Linux and Windows operating systems & server environments (Apache & IIS).
* Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure independent environment.
* Experience working both independently and, in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
* Exceptional problem solving skills
* Ability to participate in multiple projects simultaneously
* Ability to communicate effectively with team members

Salary: Dependent on Experience
Hours: 8-5 M-F, with after hour and weekends as necessary for updates and product launches.

Position requires a degree in Occupational Therapy, certification from NBCOT, State License for the state in which services are being provided and CPR.

One (1) year phlebotomy experience preferred and/or nationally recognized (ASCP) certification preferred. Nationally recognized (ASCP) certification preferred.
