Description
Do you love to create software products for large scale system solutions?
Are you searching for important work in the defense of our Nation’s surface Navy ships?
Do you like contributing to team projects through collaboration with multi-disciplinary scientists and engineers?
If so, we're looking for someone like you to join our team at APL.
We are seeking a Software Engineer/Architect to help us develop high-fidelity physics-based models of threat missiles that are used for evaluating our surface Navy’s ship defenses. These models are high pedigree 6-degree of freedom (DOF) threat missile simulations to support design, development and testing of electronic warfare (EW) and integrated air & missile defense (IAMD) systems and integrated capabilities.
As a member of our team, you will contribute the development and production of these threat representations. You will focus on the common code software repository that holds component functions necessary for the family of threat models.
