The Startingate Ski Shop is looking for a friendly and motivated candidate to join our outerwear department immediately for the upcoming ski season. Full-time and part-time are available. During their shifts, candidates will be asked to work with customers on the sales floor, maintain the orderliness of the outerwear department and fulfill online orders. Candidate's must have some knowledge of winter sports. Proficiency in computers a must.

Weekends and holidays a must in the winter months (minus Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve & Christmas Day when we are closed).

Candidate requirements are:

• Presentable attire.
• Great customer service skills.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Comfortable selling high-end merchandise.
• Ability to maintain a clean and orderly sales floor.
• Ability to work days alone and self-motivate.
• Punctual.
• Knowledge of skiing/ snowboarding/winter sports.

Bonus skills are:

• Worked in the ski industry.
• Previous sales experience.
• Knowledge of Retail Edge and Shopify.
