Ba Sa is a restaurant envisioned by the second generation of the Nguyen family. Siblings Trinh and Thai have created a menu that showcases traditional Vietnamese dishes inspired by French techniques and the abundance of products found in the Pacific Northwest.

Ba Sa Restaurant is a team environment with tip sharing system with everyone working together and taking care of one another.

 Check section to insure tables are clean and set properly

 Cut and prep all condiments and fruits needed for the day

 Make sure everything is stocked a ready for service

 Greet customers within 5 minutes of being seated

 Take and process guests’ orders in a timely fashion

 Memorize drink and dessert menu for on-demand recitation

 Up-sell desserts and drinks as appropriate for individual guests and parties

 Manage large groups quickly and efficiently through attentive service and precise order taking

 Maintain a fine dining atmosphere and handle guest complaints/requests quickly

 Keep a positive attitude and be a team player

 Communicate with bussers, cooks and other staff in order to maintain a positive and efficient work environment

 Able to perform high-quality work while unsupervised.

 Assist diners with orders by answering menu questions or making recommendations upon request.

 Take accurate food and drink orders using a POS system and communicate order details to the kitchen staff as needed.

 Check customer’s ID if necessary, to assure they are of legal drinking age.

 Up-sell any additional products when appropriate.

 Serve food and drink orders to guests.

 Present and pour wine selections with the appropriate stemware and presentation

 Stay up to date on any menu changes and daily specials.

 Check-in with diner’s to make sure they are enjoying their meals and correct any problems within 7 minutes of being served food

 Deliver checks and process bill payments

 Clear away dirty plates, glassware, flatware and linens, and clean tables after diners have finished.

 Organize your work and work area professionally

 Do all other tasks as required by the supervisor

 Maintain a neat and clean dining area.

 Replenish condiment, set up food stations, and prep for the next shift.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
