Established local business is seeking an experienced accounting manager to report to the Chief Financial Officer. This full-time position is based in the Mid-County area.

Skills & Knowledge Required

• Bachelor’s Degree in accounting with CPA license preferred
• Minimum of 7 years experience
• Must be able to successfully perform multiple tasks, while maintaining attention to detail and high quality of work
• Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft office with strong Microsoft excel experience

Essential Job Functions

• Economic development incentive consulting to a diverse base of clients
• As needed research, collection of company business data, site selection financial analysis, preparing multiple state incentive applications, ongoing compliance reporting and maintenance of agreements required for various client’s state and local incentives
• Prepare month-end close and financial statements
• Read contracts and apply terms to accounts receivable functions
• Annual federal tax preparation work alongside CPA firm

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
