- Identify opportunities for sales and menu placements on bids and off bids
- Work closely with the JTM K12 Bid Team in reviewing bid documents and sharing information pertaining to bid opportunities.
- Review K12 balances for appropriate year-to-date usage
- Utilize Salesforce in documenting sales effort
- Identify opportunities for sales and menu placements on bids and off bids
- Report Marketing spend in territory
- Food Show/Food Cuttings Support
- Complete ServSafe Certification
- Understand all aspects of Product knowledge
- Nutritional data of existing products
- Production processes
- Federal Regulation 76 FR 2494, Nutrition Standards in the National School Lunch and School Breakfast Programs
- USDA diversion process and USDA Foods allocation and ordering cycles
- Product Training
- Assist in coordinating Product Training for internal and external staff on new and existing School items as necessary
- Bid placement
- Show product for strategic placement on bids
- Work closely with existing brokers to ensure market penetration
- Attend regional and national conferences (SNA, ACDA)
- Manage warehouse inventories at various locations within assigned region
- Travel required: 25 – 75% each week
- Safety/GMP/Food Safety/Quality policies followed
- BRC Compliance
- Reporting accuracy
- Customer requirements
- Bilingual (Spanish/English)
- Minimum four-year college degree, preferable in business
- Ability to build strong relationships, provide excellent customer service, and problem solving
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to plan and coordinate multiple projects.
- Effective communication skills with internal and external associates.
- Computer literate with spreadsheet capabilities.
- Bilingual (Spanish/English)
