SALES REPRESENTATIVE (M/F/D) / FULL TIME with Travel

You will be responsible for bringing in and maintaining new business. Hensel Recycling North America is a young, dynamic, family-owned business. We are one of the leading companies in the recovery of precious metals from spent catalytic converters, diesel particulate filters, oxygen sensors, e-scrap, and other material containing precious metals.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Builds and maintains a network of sources from which to identify and generate new sales leads.

• Communicates with customers and leads to identify and understand their service needs; identifies and suggests services

to meet those needs.

• Ensures customer satisfaction through ongoing communication and relationship management; resolves any issues that arise

• Maintains communication with existing and previous customers, alerting them of new services, and enhancements that may be

of interest.

• Maintains detailed reports of sales activities including calls, orders, sales, and customer visits.

• Meets or exceeds defined sales goals on an annual basis.

• Provides periodic territory sales forecasts.

• Uses historical data to hedge/price customers’ material.

• Performs market research by talking with network.

• In-person inspection of different types of material.

• Conducts on-site customer plant tours.

• Negotiates and prepare terms with customer.

• Attends and participates in industry related trade events.

• Travel: ~50%

• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor‘s Degree (BA) from four-year college or university, or one to two years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
