We Are Looking to Add a Key Member to Our Sales Team!
The Sales Development Representative (SDR) role is the first interaction prospective customers have with GreatAmerica Financial Services which means you will play a critical role in driving new business opportunities. This role is a liaison between marketing and sales and is ultimately responsible for delivering qualified leads to the rest of the sales team. This role will take leads in various stages following an established process to qualify, score, and hand off the best leads to produce financing volume. The SDR role is a foundational step into building tenacity, ability, and confidence for a future in sales and marketing.
As an Account Executive, you’ll:
  • Be Driven! Consistently execute sales related activities via telephone, email, and social media to create and maintain a steady stream of opportunity and planning daily activity to systematically reach the highest potential leads each day.
  • Focus on Results! Success will be measured by the number of leads accepted by the sales team.
  • Use Strategic Thinking! We’re looking for talented individuals to execute lead generation strategies. Score and qualify leads from marketing campaigns, identifying which are most viable. Test and delivers sales message consistent with the marketing plan and evaluates the overall quality and volume opportunity with accounts.
  • Be a Bridge Builder and Dot Connector! Consistently manage ~100 leads and prospects in various stages of the sales funnel and set up meetings between prospective clients and territory sales reps.
  • Be Consultative and a Differentiator! Uncover hidden needs within key territory accounts and look for ways to effectively differentiate our services and value proposition from the competition.
  • Become a Trusted Advisor! Develops a social media presence and strategy to build professional network and deliver marketing messages to customers.
  • Build a Career! Collaborate with internal departments to ensure sales goals are met, customer satisfaction levels are high, and be part of a successful team with committed local leadership who will support your efforts.
  • Be Persistent! Use your professionally persistent ability to make repeated calls, emails, social media, and other forms of communication to gain access to C-level business owners. Close sales by building rapport, relying on GreatAmerica capabilities, and consistently overcoming objections.
To be successful in this role you’ll need:
  • The ability to sell value by helping customers envision how GreatAmerica programs can save them money and/or increase productivity.
  • An affinity for connecting quickly with people to gain trust to collaboratively solve business problems.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing or Sales related degree
  • Strong Business acumen and judgement to make appropriate decisions as well as strong negotiation and follow through skills.
  • Excelling in communication, business development, relationship management, working autonomously and time management.
