What You'll Do
- Work on assigned projects with the supervision of a mentor and/or supervisor
- Presentation/Report on an improvement project at the end of internship
- Partner directly with leaders in various departments to optimize site safety processes
- Coach and train employees on health and safety requirements
- Participate in the CMC Safety Programs and proactively uphold the CMC Safety Culture
What You'll Need
- Ability to apply strong analytical and problem solving skills to identify and research resolution to issues and trends with transactions
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with ability to work in teams and to effectively interact with employees at all levels of the organization
- Able to work independently, take initiative and drive for results with minimal supervision
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Possess an interest in working in manufacturing safety
- Basic knowledge of OSHA General Industry Regulations required
Your Education
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Currently pursuing a degree in a related field at an accredited university
