Willow Brook Rehabilitation & Nursing Center in beautiful Kutztown, PA is currently hiring for an experienced RN Staff Educator/Infection Control Coordinator.

Infection Control certification is highly preferred!!

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Infection Control maintenance and education
• The Registered Nurse Staff Development Nurse functions as a Liaison between the facility and community education resources.
• The RN Staff Development Nurse works in conjunction with the DON/ADON to provide education related to quality assurance data conversion and evaluation for the QA program to educate and inform staff of facility QA needs and program to improve resident care.
• The Staff Development RN analyzes and evaluates nursing care of employees during probationary period to assure the standards of nursing practice are of the highest quality and in accordance with the State Nurse Practice Act.
• The RN Staff Development Nurse supervises the training and orientation of all staff.
• The RN Infection Preventionist assists in directing and supervising the implementation of the resident care plan, including but not limited to: ensuring use of appropriate safety devices, positioning and toileting plans, infection control measures.
