  • Position Overview
      This position assumes responsibility and accountability for patient care outcomes by utilizing the nursing process, prescribing, delegating & coordinating direct and indirect nursing care to patients.
  • Education/Knowledge Requirements
      Prerequisites:
      • RN licensure is required, issued by the PA State Board of Nursing.
      • PALS/ACLS preferred
      • Satisfactory completion of critical care education. (See Administrative Policy #7060 - Guidelines for Critical Care Education) preferred
      • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
      Essential Job-Related Experience:
      • CPR Certification
      • Ability to maintain/update the computer competencies as required for the position
      Preferred Job-Related Experience:
      • One (1) year of medical/surgical experience
      • IV Therapy
