Essential Functions of the Role
Knowledge of laws, rules, regulations, standards and guidelines set by Texas state laws and regulations along with company policies/procedures.
Works collaboratively and independently with colleagues to develop and implement plan of care. Delegates tasks and care to appropriate staff and ensures timely follow-up. Exercises independent judgement within the context of interdisciplinary patient care.
Preserves and protects the confidentiality, autonomy, dignity and rights of patient and family and represents their concerns. Identifies and clearly communicates clinical concerns.
Uses strategies and available resources for problem solving. Considers factors related to safety, effectiveness and efficiency in planning and delivering patient care.
Create a compassionate, supportive and safe environment for patients, families and staff.

Requirements
Current Texas Nursing License in good standing
2 years of emergency room nursing experience
Current BLS, ACLS and PALS obtained through American Heart Association
Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office, Windows and EMR/EPM systems
Expertise
Reliant, trustworthy and dependable
Exceptional technical skills (IV, local anesthesia, Foley, etc.)
Ability to work in high-pressure situations while maintain excellent patient care
Document pertinent data in a concise manner
