Position Overview

The Quality Systems Engineer is responsible for helping the quality team maintain and improve the quality management system by supporting customer and regulatory audits, performing internal audits, and enhancing the impact of quality system documentation.

What you will do

• Support the quality team in customer and regulatory audits of the quality management system.
• Perform internal audits of internal, customer, and regulatory requirements.
• Manage, maintain, and uphold quality management system documentation.
• Function as subject matter expert for all quality system requirements.
• Comply with all safety and health guidelines, quality standard practices/procedures, and housekeeping standards.
• Effectively communicate and reinforce the commitment to quality improvement efforts.
• Assist with corporate quality system processes – procedure management, customer quality surveys, root cause/corrective action activities, etc.

What you will need

Requires a bachelor's degree in a technical or manufacturing-related field from a four-year college or university or 5 years of quality experience in a manufacturing environment. Must be familiar with quality management system standards (ISO 9001, IATF 16949, AS9100, ISO 13485, etc.).
