Position Summary

The Sales Department at Romtec Utilities is looking for a Sales Associate to join our Team. Romtec Utilities is a national company that designs and supplies site specific pumping systems for developers, public agencies and more. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

• Sell large scale pumping systems for development projects.
• Follow up on lift station projects with maintenance/service proposals.
• Estimate and/or assist with the estimate of all new pumping system project
• Responsible for Scope and Proposal development
• Attend all new project kick off meetings;
• Build and manage Customer Relationships;
• Develop and maintain project documentation such as process and procedures, project plans, schedules, process flows, test cases.
• Work with internal team to provide scope solutions for customer issues.
• Attend events, trade shows and trade association meetings to facilitate networking opportunities.
• Promote, market, and sell pumping systems.

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

It is critical that the Project Sales Associate have at least:

• 2-year Associates Degree in Engineering, Business, Technical, Education, Marketing, Business/Administration, Project Management, Communication, or other.
• Previous Sales experience in areas beyond retail
• Problem-solving skills
• Cold calling and product sales experience preferred.
• Fundamental understanding of various design and engineering aspects including civil, mechanical, electrical, and structural, etc. as they relate to pumping system design and construction.
• Participate in ongoing training of new technology and industry related equipment.

Other Qualifications:

• Good interpersonal, communication skills and strong analytical thinking
• Microsoft Office, Excel, and general office computer and software capability
• Strong computer skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
