Culpepper Construction Company is seeking self-motivated people to tackle the administrative challenges required to bring exciting new large-scale construction projects to reality. Our project coordinators are a vital part of our successful team and will be interacting with multiple team members including owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors. Job Description:
The Project Coordinator is responsible for directing, organizing, and controlling project activities, under the direction of a Project Manager. The overall goal of the project team is flawless execution of the project.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Effective communication skills including verbal, written and presentation skills.
· Proven ability to work effectively both independently and in a team-based environment.
· Act as the point of contact and communicate project status adequately to all participants.
· Demonstrate willingness to be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities.
· Strong multitasking and organizational skills.
· Assist the PM in the drafting and issuance of all project related documents (project start-up, pay applications, AIA documents, subcontracts, insurance, change orders, RFI’s, plans, project close-out, etc.)
· Attend various meetings and distribute minutes, details, and updates to all project team members.
· Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans and reports using the database system.
· Actively participate in the daily activities of a busy office including but not limited to: answering phones, opening and distributing mail as necessary, helping to maintain office supplies and generally stepping in to help wherever possible to help.
