GLAS is seeking a creative, talented and self-motivated team member who is value-aligned with our firm and is committed to quality work in all aspects of the architectural process. Successful candidates will collaborate with other members of the team in all aspects of the project, ensure the work is completed on schedule while maintaining and managing client expectations.
Position responsibilities include:
· Collaborate with project team throughout project duration.
· Manage project documentation production.
· Participate in consultant coordination.
· Assist in developing project design schedule and fee.
· Manage and mentor other team members to accomplish goals and meet deadlines.
Minimum Required Qualifications:
· 5 Year Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture.
· 5 years of professional experience in the field of architecture.
· Proficiency with software including, AutoCAD, Revit, Enscape, Adobe CC, Microsoft Office, and Bluebeam.
Professional Competencies:
· Excellent organizational, problem-solving and time management skills.
· Ability to communicate effectively and clearly in writing and verbally.
· Commitment to working as part of a team.
· Ability to successfully manage multiple tasks with shifting priorities.
Preferred Qualifications:
· License to practice Architecture in the state of Oregon.
· Working knowledge of sustainable design practices in architecture including daylight analysis, improved envelope design, solar gain and shading, etc.
· Familiarity with developing and writing specifications.
· Familiarity with the Oregon Structural Specialty Code and code analysis.
· A working knowledge of building enclosure concepts and design.
