Position Summary
Big Bend Community College (BBCC), a rural college serving vibrant, culturally rich communities in the Columbia Basin of Central Washington invites applications for a Program Specialist 2 in the college's Workforce Education Division.
Under general direction, this position works collaboratively with program faculty and staff to provide instructional, student, and clerical support for Workforce Education programs such as Accounting/Business, Agriculture, Automotive Technology, Aviation, Aviation Maintenance Technology, Business Information Management (BIM), Commercial Driver’s License (CDL), Computer Science, Education/Early Childhood Education program, Industrial Systems Technology (IST), Manufacturing, Mechatronics, and Welding Technology.
This position reports to the Dean of Workforce Education and works collaboratively with others in a team environment in an effort to facilitate a positive experience for students.

Essential Job Duties
Primary essential duties and responsibilities include but will not be limited to the following:

REQUIRED WORK SCHEDULE AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Basic work schedule is 7:30 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Thursday and 7:30 am to 2:00 pm on Friday. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings. Hours may be adjusted to meet the needs of the department.
Work is sedentary in nature with frequent repetitive hand and wrist motions. Frequent use of computer and exposure to terminal screens in performing work assignments. Frequent need for oral and auditory communications. Occasionally kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, reach, and lift and carry up to 25 lbs., unassisted. Ability to communicate using verbal and/or written skills for accurate exchange of information with faculty, staff, professionals, students, and the public.
