Job Number: 1002

Riverside Research is seeking a Product Proxy Owner to assist in performing product analysis and ensuring developmental teams are delivering products of the highest value to the government customer and analytical stakeholders. The Proxy Product Owner will ensure they understand stakeholder requirements, the proposed product solution, and the definition of success. Since context of this support will be classified, candidates must have a TS/SCI clearance.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Engage directly with enterprise IT architects, customers, developers, and other stakeholders to develop new enterprise level software services/technologies
  • Possess a deep understanding of product requirements
  • Assist stakeholders and contracted product development teams in determining if delivered product solutions are meeting the requirements; facilitate necessary documentation for government engagement with product development teams
  • Communicate government defined product visions to the product development teams and production stakeholders
  • Develop use cases and user stories as requested
  • Develop and maintain product backlogs; prioritize and clearly communicate product backlog items to product team
  • Identify and communicate key dependencies between multiple products and their product owners
  • Support the maintenance of a product roadmap
  • Communicate status of projects to government customer; participate in meetings, technical reviews, as necessary
  • Represent our customer at enterprise level meetings and as required present briefings
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

  • Top Secret clearance with SCI adjudication
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, information technology, physics, mathematics, or related fields.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Product Owner
  • Experience with Department of Defense (DoD) and Intelligence Community (IC) stakeholders
  • Experience using JIRA and Confluence
  • Experience with working in agile software development environments
  • Self-motivated, detail oriented, responsible team player able to work independently with minimal daily direction; effective/efficient written/verbal communication skills in fast paced, collaborative environment

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting the National Air and Space Intelligence Center (NASIC), the Intelligence Community (IC), intelligence production, etc.
  • Experience with DoD SW development acquisitions
  • Understanding of micro-services, IaaS, PaaS, system visualization, and/or hybrid cloud native capabilities/designs
  • Understanding of software programing languages like Python
  • Experience with DevSecOps and CI/CD pipelines
  • Understanding of Kubernetes, Docker, Istio, Helm, GitLab, Elastic, Tableau, cross domain solutions, and/or other related technologies
  • Experience as part of an agile software development project/program
  • Experience in project management
  • Professional certifications in agile software development (e.g. Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), Certified Agile Leadership (CAL), etc.…)
  • Professional certifications in systems engineering, IT, and/or project/program management (e.g. ITIL, PMP, DAU, etc.)
