We are seeking a Pharmacist for our facility to ensure that we continue to provide all patients with high quality, efficient care. Job Summary:

• You will review, process, and dispense all physician medication and intravenous solution orders, ensuring appropriateness of dosage and use based on patient age, weight, and diagnosis.
• You will be responsible for transferring prescriptions, handling incoming physician calls, logging data into the computer, and completing drug utilization reviews.
• You will provide clinical and educational services to other healthcare professionals, patients and their families in compliance with state and federal laws.
• Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

Qualifications:

• Requires a bachelor's degree and/or an advanced degree in pharmacy
• Requires appropriate license to practice in the state of Kentucky
• Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field
• Interpersonal skills to successfully interact with patient, guest, physicians, and other employees
