Job Description :

Do you love talking to people? How about supporting local business owners in our community? The Ridgefield Chamber of Commerce is seeking a part-time Office Assistant to join its team.

About the position:

  • Present a positive and professional image of The Chamber to members, business associates, and the general public through inquiries and other interactions.
  • Answer, screen, and refer telephone inquiries.
  • Provide information, referrals, and manage queries from members, business associates, and the general public on various topics.
  • Database administration (email campaigns, light billing, membership communications).

Hours:

Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9-1. May be required to work evenings/weekends or additonal hours during events.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of two (2) years office reception, administrative, and/or customer service experience.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Publisher)
  • Knowledge of Canva and Mailchimp or willingness to learn.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Professional, positive, and results-orientated with the ability to multi-task and work effectively under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to set priorities and complete tasks with a high level of accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with board and staff, chamber members, business associates, and the general public.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • Day shift
