What is This Gig All About?

This is a great opportunity for a goal-oriented, creative individual who enjoys marketing and communications and can think both creatively and strategically to drive organizational growth.

We have expanded our programs immensely in just over 6 years, and we are seeking a talented Graphic Designer to join the Volo marketing team on a part-time basis. This person will work directly with the Recruiting Manager, and National Marketing team to support and take the lead on various projects which will include the following:

• Graphic and Creative design
  • Able to create comprehensive graphic marketing tool kits
  • Manipulate photos and images in order to create on-brand design elements
• Local and National Grassroots Efforts
  • Able to create local printed marketing materials and assets
  • Able to build digital kits for third party social media and email shares
  • Work directly with Recruiting Manager to create materials and content for recruiting collateral
• Social Media Productions
  • Build and edit social media reels
  • Plan and execute different social media strategies and campaigns

DESIRED SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS

Qualification

• Currently enrolled in college or recently graduated individual with experience in marketing, graphic design, and/or any related field.
• Ability to work in-office 10-15 hours per week

Ideal Candidate

• Proficient in Canva and Adobe Creative Cloud Programs
• Proficient in video editing and creation
• Creative and design oriented
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Self-directed leader who takes initiative and a solutions-oriented approach to problem solving, and demonstrates a willingness to learn and improve
