Job Description :

XPAC is looking for an experienced Operations Division Manager who possesses integrity and an excellent work ethic in order to meet our customer demands and production expectations in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate is an adaptable, detail-oriented, hands-on leader with a proven track record of being able to effectively communicate direction and goals to many levels of employees, and will work directly with and motivate department supervisors and employees for continual learning and improvement in a demanding environment. The Operations Division Manager is accountable for the overall productivity, safety, and quality of the division. The successful candidate will ensure customer key performance indicators are being met; control costs and oversee all functional areas by maintaining the appropriate staffing levels and training of all workforce.

This list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as management may deem necessary from time to time.

  • Administers, supervises and coordinates the activities of supervisory staff, and plans and executes measures to improve performance and increase efficiencies.
  • Responsible for production planning and tracking to ensure on-time order delivery to customer(s), manpower utilization, planning and implementation.
  • Tracks and manages inventory of assigned division.
  • Monitors achievement of required divisional performance levels for Productivity, Quality, Safety, and Cost containment.
  • Maintains and monitors relevant operational performance metrics and provides input and participates in continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Reviews performance against operating plans and standards. Provides reports to subordinates on interpretation of results and approves changes in directions of plans.
  • Develops, cultivates, and maintains relationships with internal and external customers.
  • Effectively communicates, with tact and clarity, directly with customer, subordinates, employees, co-workers, as well as XPAC senior leadership.
  • Coordinates and collaborates with other divisions of the Company in establishing and carrying out responsibilities.
  • Directs accountability for performance to supervisory staff through leadership by example.
  • Recommends and/or initiates personnel actions including, but not limited to hiring, promotions, transfers, disciplinary measures, terminations, and training of new or current employees.
  • In performing the functions above, responsible for cross training employees for key positions to provide opportunities for upward mobility within the divisions as well as within the Company.
  • Implement and enforce Company policies.
  • Follows all safety procedures.

A minimum of five (5) years of 3PL/Supply Chain or Inventory & Materials Management experience required.

Must have the ability to manage multiple projects from concept to completion. Proficiency using Microsoft Word and Excel is required.

Organizational skills: Ability to prioritize competing priorities and meet scheduling demands, strong attention to detail

FLSA Status: Exempt

Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
