The purpose of this position is to t reat residents who have been referred to occupational therapy by the resident's physician on written order. Identifying residents by diagnosis or observation or staff referral who may benefit from therapy and requests orders for evaluation and treatment. Occupational Therapist Qualifications:
  • New York State licensure to practice occupational therapy
  • Interpersonal skills necessary to communicate accurately and precisely to patients and family members
  • Experience in a skilled nursing facility preferred, not required
