Health Now Family Practice primary care + Walk In Clinic is a company in HEALTH_CARE_MEDICAL in Denver, CO (We are located in Centennial, Colorado near the Park Meadows mall area). We are a private practice and we really take pride in all of our Nurse Practitioners and all of our staff! We are supportive, student-friendly, autonomous, professional and we work as a close-knit team.

We are currently looking for a Nurse Practitioner (part-time and full-time) to join our team for 3-4 days per week.

NURSE PRACTITIONER QUALIFICATIONS:

Education and Special Qualifications (Licensure, Registration, etc.)

• Possession of a Colorado State Nurse Practitioner license.
• National Nurse Practitioner Certification is required.
• Prescriptive authority is required. No claims against your license.
• BLS certification.
• All licenses must be unencumbered.

NURSE PRACTITIONER ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Able to see up to 20 patients per day.
• Obtains complete medical history and physical data on patients.
• Performs a thorough physical exam, and records findings. Collaborates with colleagues in managing acute and long-term medical needs of patients.
• Orders appropriate laboratory and diagnostic procedures.
• Administers medications and injections as needed.
• Instructs patients and family regarding medications and treatment instructions.
• Provides patient education and discharges patients when appropriate.
• Assists in the triage of patient telephone calls and provides consultation.
• **Must have a minimum of 1 year of outpatient primary care experience managing chronic conditions and should be able to perform suturing, skin biopsies, pap smears, administer IV fluids, interpret EKGs and Spirometry, I&D of cysts and wounds independently**

COVID-19 considerations:
We continue to have telehealth visits since the start of the pandemic as we strive to keep our patients and staff safe but this is not required as many providers are wanting to see these patients in clinic. It is providers discretion.
