Shift: 8:30AM-5PM

Days Off: Saturday/Sunday off

This position is responsible for supporting a 600+ node heterogeneous LAN/WAN/WLAN networks in a 24/7 environment, including servers, switches, routers, firewalls, and access points. Additional responsibilities include server performance and security monitoring, server fault tolerance management, wiring integrity, firewalls, intranet/internet management, etc.

Other duties you'll be responsible for:

• Implement, maintain, monitor and document server infrastructure ,Windows Active Directory
• Implement, maintain, monitor and document network switches, routers, wireless equipment and firewalls
• Maintain and document virtual LAN configurations, create and implement new VLANs as necessary
• Maintain, enforce and test network access policies and procedures, create and implement procedures accordingly
• Maintain, enforce and test password policy to ensure compliance
• Maintain, enforce and test firewall/VPN policies and procedures, create and implement procedures accordingly
• Provide support to the business units by working with off-site vendors when related equipment is located on-site
• Monitor and maintain temperature and humidity levels in computer room
• Monitor and maintain organization of data center at all times

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• Required: Associate or Bachelors degree in a computer related field and/or relevant experience

2+ years experience as a network or systems administrator in a heterogeneous network environment
2+ years supporting a Windows Active Directory environment, MS Exchange

• Preferred: Experience with security appliances, network, server, and SAN equipment

Experience with Data Domain and tape library technologies
Microsoft Certified System Engineer (MCSE)

• Physical Capacities and Environmental Conditions: Indoor environment. Hearing, vision, firm grasping, sitting, walking, pushing/pulling, reaching, lifting/carrying 40 pounds, counting, business math, typing (60 WPM), phone communication, oral communication, and written communication. Other requirements will be: kneeling, squatting, bending, standing, personal computer (MS Office software), laser/inkjet printers, copier, computer terminal, ten-key, fax machine, paper shredder, etc.

**Proof of Covid vaccination, partial Covid vaccination, or medical/religious exemption is required for employment.
