Josh West Consulting Group is recruiting to fill a position for one of its Iowa based clients. This is a full-time direct hire position for our client.

Josh West Consulting Group is looking for a permanent full-time / direct hire Network Administrator/ Desktop Support person to join one of our clients! They are a Iowa based well-established, financially secure, multi-location company. Full benefit suite is offered.

If you are success-driven, an organized problem solver, and passionate about ensuring and maintaining a stable network infrastructure and helping your users succeed, this job may be for you. You will develop, administer, and maintain the network infrastructure to support the business by ensuring security, integrity and high-availability of enterprise systems and related components. You will also be the face of support to a diverse group of users in multiple offices. And, you will coordinate with your other IT teammates in deploying solutions across the enterprise. Your dedication to ongoing education and flexibility in using several types of software and hardware is critical.

Hybrid flexible position- you can work remote 1-2 days a week and onsite 3-4 days per week. Therefore, being a self-starter is a must!

Key responsibilities

- Providing desktop and network support to users problems
- Troubleshooting and resolving local area networks / wide area network performance and connectivity issues
- Coordinating and implementing software and hardware upgrades
- Ensuring network security, backup schedules, and uptime
- Coordinating implementation of business system upgrades/packages
- Collaborating with other expert support personnel as needed

Requirements

- Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft based system administration
- Previous experience in providing desktop support
- Adeptness in LAN/WAN
- Aptitude for troubleshooting, analyzing and diagnosing problems
- 3+ years related experience in systems/network admin and user support

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
