Job Summary: Provide direct client care through individual and group therapy. Conduct comprehensive client care delivery from intake and assessment of new client, treatment planning, and through discharge. Document client interactions consistent with professional licensure and organizational requirements. Manage relationship with referral sources, participate in business improvement processes, self-manage employable status, and continuous learning and acquisition of clinical skills.

Functional Areas & Duties and Responsibilities:

• Client care delivery: provide group and individual services to intensive outpatient clients; demonstrate or acquire skills aligned with treatment programming to conduct group therapy for clients with history of PTSD, trauma, disordered eating
• Client assessment: Conduct intake and assessment for new clients entering the treatment program; document, as required
• Treatment planning: in coordination with the clinical director and the treatment team, develop and manage a treatment plan for clients in the treatment program
• Documentation: document all client interactions and information as directed by the clinical director on the electronic health records platform, including intake and assessment, treatment plan, progress notes, discharge plan, and discharge summary
• Treatment team participation: participate in treatment team meetings on weekly or bi-weekly basis; be prepared to discuss client needs, progress, and treatment recommendations; integrate clinical director guidance into treatment plan
• Referral and stakeholder communications: develop and maintain relationship with client referral source; understand and align with referral source communications frequency and style; keep referral source aware of any notable events in the treatment program; ensure client maintains ongoing clinical relationship with referral source

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

• Masters or doctoral degree in social work, counseling, psychology or related field and be either provisionally licensed and under supervision or licensed by the State of Rhode Island
• Minimum of two year’s recent related experience working with trauma, PTSD, eating disordered clients or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience

Pay: $50.00 - $65.00 per hour
