** We are looking for someone who radiates kindness, is patient and eager to learn - We can train the right person **As a Medical Assistant at Pure Infusion Suites of Layton you will support our doctors and patients through a variety of tasks related to patient care management, organization, and communication, but also our front desk in answering phones, checking patients out, and generally being available when anyone department needs your help. Responsibilities

• Intake patients and document basic medical history in lieu of provider exam.
• Organize and schedule appointments and help out at the front desk
• Update and file medical records and insurance reports
• Assists nurses during procedures.
• Performs a variety of patient testing and screening, which may include TB testing hearing and vision screening, EKG exams and similar functions.
• Performs other work-related duties as requested.

Skills

• Proven working experience as a medical assistant
• Knowledge of medical office management systems and procedures
• Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask and prioritize work without being told what to do.
• Social perceptiveness and service-oriented
• Is a team player
• Comfortable with technology and can quickly learn EMR systems.
• MA or CNA Certification preferred
