Job Description :

The Richland Hospital has a full-time, with new wage scales, benefit eligible position available for a Certified Medical Assistant / LPN / RN. The Medical Assistant, LPN, or RN is responsible for assisting physicians and other providers with examination and patient care, as well as, the administration of injections/immunizations following pre-defined procedures/protocols under the direction of the provider. This position communicates with the public to provide general information regarding the facility, answers incoming telephone calls, records messages, and schedules appointments. Candidates must be willing to train to perform some basic laboratory procedures.

Education / Experience: Medical Assistant Certification from an approved program required or LPN license is required or RN license required. CPR Certification are also required. A successful candidate will have the ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing in a professional manner; an interest in gaining new skills and knowledge necessary for the performance of the position’s essential functions; and the ability to work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team.
