What You Will Do:

Under the supervision of the physician, performs Medical Assistant specific tasks, and assesses and educates patients.

What You Will Bring:

Education
High school degree or equivalent

Experience
One year of experience in a clinical setting

Certification & Licensures
BLS Certification (Basic Life Support) - American Heart ‘Healthcare Provider’ (HCP) - AHA approved required *

• New hires must have American Heart Association (AHA) appropriate certification prior to completion of orientation.

Qualifications
Training in specialty-specific assisting desired Good communication skills Competent to provide care to patients utilizing the nursing process Knowledge of the basic principles of human growth and development Competent to successfully interact with patients according to their special needs which may apply, based on age of the patient served
