Northwest Return to Work (NWRTW) is the leading provider of comprehensive and objective work-related rehabilitation and evaluation services, is seeking an experienced medical administrative assistant for our CARF accredited multidisciplinary clinic. Bilingual in English and Spanish desired.

Primary Duties:

Be the first impression for our clients, making them feel welcomed and assured they are in the right place for the best possible care. Here’s a sampling of duties:

· Check-in clients

· Verify ID and scan to chart

· Assist clients, interpreters and staff with information, faxes, forms

· Maintain accurate recordkeeping

· Communicate with team members, clinicians, referral sources as needed in a professional and accurate manner to assist in client care

· Answer multi-line phones, check voicemail, route calls as needed.

· Assist in processing of records and documentation, scheduling, team coordination and communication.

· Adhere to health and safety policies.

· Perform general office duties as needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish desired.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology desired.
  • Excellent organizational skills, high attention to detail and accuracy, able to multitask, and prioritize.
  • Possess a pleasant telephone manner and the ability to remain so, even in stressful situations.
  • Display primary interest in internal and external customer relations and maintain a standard of exceptional courtesy, friendliness, and respect for others always.
  • Able to communicate in a clear and concise manner with providers, co-workers, patients, interpreters, stakeholders, and the general public in person, over the phone, and through written correspondence.
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office applications such as Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Able to maintain clinical and administrative records in accordance with NWRTW clinical practices, professional standards, and HIPAA guidelines.
  • Positive attitude, team player, reliable, and punctual.
  • Able to thrive and problem solve in a fast-paced environment.
  • Receive and implement constructive feedback with a positive attitude.
  • Demonstrate flexibility as needs, priorities, tasks, and procedures may change.
  • High school diploma or GED required; AA degree in a health-related field desired.

***NOTE: This is not a remote position. ***

Minimum Experience: 1 year preferred

Compensation: $20-$22/hr. DOE

Desired: Bi-lingual candidates who speak Spanish and English fluently.
