Marketing Coordinator Skills, Qualifications and Key Responsibilities:

We are looking for someone with the following four primary skills and qualifications:

1. Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills are important in this Marketing Coordinator role. You regularly need to collaborate with team members, vendors, and other company employees to understand the needs of the marketing department.

2. Creativity: A high level of creativity will allow you to help create visually appealing images, videos, and marketing materials, which will be very useful to the marketing department.

3. Analytical: You will often be involved in the research and reporting of marketing campaign results. Your analytical skills will enable you to compile the data and present it in an easy-to-understand format.

4. Project management: You will often be involved with multiple projects at one time. The ability to organize details and complete projects in a timely manner is crucial in this position.

As a successful hire, you will be tasked with helping identify marketing trends and opportunities for growth, perform market research, manage our social media channels, and help create various marketing materials such as pamphlets, case studies, collateral, and pitch letters. You will be giving presentations about our ongoing marketing activities, and you will provide support to our marketing and sales teams.

To be chosen for this role, you must have a bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field. Prior work experience in administration, sales, or marketing is a plus. Effective written and verbal communication skills and a high level of attention to detail are both important keys to success in this role.

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or related field
  • Administration or sales and Marketing Coordinator experience
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively within a team and independently
  • Related job and internship experience
  • Digital marketing experience
  • Familiarity with social media platforms such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and other social media platforms
  • Excellent organization skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Must maintain the ability and desire to be dependable, flexible, and self-motivated
  • Heightened attention to detail, accuracy and thoroughness are critical
  • Must maintain confidentiality at all times
  • A generous spirit that desires to help others and give back is essential
