The position needed at River Street Market should consist of an individual who has experience in the following; Sales & Marketing, Networking, Event Coordination, Venue Management and an understanding of the food industry/restaurant business.

The following is a list of items this position can be responsible for:

COORDINATION @ RSM:

  • Coordinate Cluett Room Coordinate inquiries coming in from our website/email. Should also “sell” the space to each inquiry.
  • Coordinate vendors/food & catering/& needs of guests that rent the room Come up with ways to advertise the space, unique ideas to put the Cluett Room in the forefront of the market. Network with businesses, local organizations, hotels to increase the awareness of the meeting room (similar in the way a hotel event manager is constantly networking at shows and mixers to increase bookings for meeting space Coordinate Events Corporate Events: Events larger than the Cluett Room, coordinating larger groups to use the food hall space Be responsible for bringing in larger groups Social Events: be in charge of coordinating mixers, be responsible for putting RSM out there as a place to hold a function

  • Community Events: **Calendar of Events in Progress** Be responsible for monthly events of RSM * Create new exciting activities/events for the community to come to RSM
  • RSM should be heavily community based
  • Coordinate Catering “Cater from RSM” “Bring RSM to You”
  • Responsible for making tenants and area businesses aware that RSM can cater/bring food to the organization
  • Increase sales for this service Coordinate Vendors: be the point person for the group, clear communication from owners to vendors.

Understand operations and help with the flow of the space * Understand marketing with vendors and collaborations, be in charge of the synergy of the food hall bringing together a team of successful vendors to work hand in hand to promote positivity and a welcoming experience at RSM.

  • Coordinate Interior: Be apart of helping with the overall experience and feeling of the food hall (decorations for holidays, ideas to help spruce things up, advertise promotions, etc.)
  • Coordinate Calendar: Understand what events do we need to do to spruce up sales, coordinate the activity and get it on the calendarNETWORKING:

This is an important aspect of the position. Candidate should have a strong drive and willingness to want to engage with others to help create positive relationships and also bring attention to the brand River Street Market

  • Should be meeting with colleges/businesses/local organizations/hotels/athletics on a consistent basis promoting the use of River Street Market for corporate events, social events, community activities, catering, students, etc…
  • Recognize groups we are not attracting and put a plan in place to take action

SALES: This is an important aspect of the position. Candidate should have a strong drive to want to increase sales. An outgoing personality that consistently wants to increase event bookings and vendors sales.

  • The position could have a bonus incentive to help drive sales: example put a goal on how many meetings/cluett room bookings each month OR if sales increase by ___% a bonus is given that month. There has to be a drive. Most sales positions have this to motivate their sales team. This position has to have a sales base more so than marketing.

MARKETING: The candidate will work directly with the marketing team but as stated above the position should have a heavy sales drive to help with the promotion of the space. Someone that really understands the importance of networking. This person might still have to work with a graphic designer or advertising team to help with messaging and strategy, however the candidate should be responsible for letting the marketing team know where to pick up efforts. In constant communication with what is needed and where targeting should be focused on.

  • Candidate should bring forward marketing/advertising ideas based off strategies to gain new sales both B2C and B2B. Responsible for increasing consumer sales (breakfast, lunch & dinners sales) as well as bookings for events and catering.

MANAGEMENT: Candidate should have management skills, this skill will help with the COORDINATION part of the job. Should have some venue management experience and/or food industry.

OTHER: The position should also have reporting skills. Understand the importance of communication and report back to owners on the status of the food hall in regards to: operations, sales, and overall growth.

COMMUNITY MANAGER POSITION DESCRIPTION

The position needed at Century Hill Works should consist of an individual who has experience in the following; Customer Rep, Customer Engagement & Experience, Intro Marketing.

The following is a list of items this position can be responsible for:

COORDINATION @ CHW:

  • Coordinate Meeting Space Coordinate inquiries coming in from our website/email. Should also “sell” the space to each inquiry.
  • Network with businesses, local organizations to increase the awareness of the meeting rooms Coordinate Events Social Events: be in charge of coordinating mixers, be responsible for putting CHW out there as a place to hold a function * Member events – quarterly appreciation events (breakfast or lunch etc)

  • Coordinate Interior: Be a part of helping with the overall experience and feeling of the coworking space (decorations for holidays, ideas to help spruce things up, advertise promotions, etc.)NETWORKING:

MARKETING: The candidate will work directly with the marketing team as to what is needed, what is the status of the space needs/vacancies, etc. In constant communication with what is needed and where targeting should be focused on.

MANAGEMENT: Candidate should have management skills, this skill will help with the COORDINATION part of the job.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
