Location: This position is currently in Waukegan, IL. We are moving to Kenosha, WI in April of 2023.

Job Type: Full time. Monday-Friday in the office until the introductory 90-day training period is over. A hybrid remote schedule may be discussed afterwards.

Area of Responsibility: The Marketing & Communications Specialist is accountable for contributing to and delivering the Company’s marketing strategies by completing projects and campaigns on time and within budget to internal and external customer satisfaction. The successful candidate will demonstrate creativity and marketing acumen, excellent project management skills and the ability to assist in the development and lead the execution of Precision’s outward facing marketing initiatives to targeted customer audiences.

Accountabilities:

• Contribute to the corporate marketing plan for each business unit through collaboration with Product Management and Sales teams
• Utilize marketing communications mix to support the brand strategy across multiple business segments
• Manage the outward-facing digital platforms to include website, social media and mobile apps
• Develop and disseminate external communications via public relations, press releases and media interactions, either directly or through agency support
• Develop product marketing collateral for Precision and private label products
• Keep promotional materials updated, and ensure dissemination through appropriate channels
• Trade show planning and administration
• Relationship management with external agencies

Required Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in communication, marketing, advertising, or related field
• 3-5 years of professional experience in marketing and creative role(s)
• Strong attention to detail and a high sense of urgency
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrable record of marketing collateral development
• Proven record of proficiency in social media advertising including, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, Instagram and LinkedIn.
