Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Monitor and measure website SEO performance, making recommendations to improve performance.

  • Perform keyword research and competitive analysis using tools such as Semrush to optimize existing content and identify new opportunities to improve website performance.
  • Use web analytics data from sources such as Google Analytics to evaluate the effectiveness of traffic building initiatives and provide recommendations for improvement in content, user experience, and conversion.
  • Report on current performance and make recommendations for optimization, including but not limited to impressions, clicks, conversions, organic versus paid traffic, and channel performance.
  • Use web analytics to create organic search performance reports that will inform content priorities for the Marketing team.
  • Review and analyze SEO performance data and make tactical recommendations to fuel traffic growth.

Develop PPC campaigns that deliver a solid return on investment.

  • Manage, review, and perform analysis associated with Google, Bing, and other search engine platforms.
  • Maintain and monitor keyword bids, audience targeting, daily and monthly budget caps, impression share, quality score and other important metrics.
  • Manage the creation of large keyword lists.
  • Provide recommendations and execute strategies for keyword and audience opportunities, campaign structuring, targeting, display network, and other facets of paid search.
  • Provide oversight and manage new paid search campaigns.
  • Generate weekly and monthly reporting for all major metrics, goals tracking, revenue tracking, and other paid search initiatives.
  • Keep pace with search engine and PPC industry trends and developments.
  • Monitor and administer web analytics dashboards, reports, and key reporting tools, and point out key areas of importance.

Develop and implement tools and techniques for effective measurement of print/analog marketing campaigns.

  • Monitor and evaluate printed material initiatives against key indicators and communicates results and recommendations.
  • Recommend CTA’s (call to action), event codes, or other means to develop reliable and actionable analytical data for print campaigns.

Engages with internal and external business partners to impact business and marketing outcomes.

  • Engage with the Sales Team to ensure the initiatives of the Marketing and Sales teams are coordinated.
  • Continually improve the customer and contact information in our various systems so that we can effectively market to them.
  • Work collaboratively with other members of the Marketing Team and key external partners, such as our website maintenance and development partner.

Competencies/Skills Required

  • Ability and willingness to be part of a team which includes working together cohesively towards a common goal, creating a positive work atmosphere, and supporting each other to combine individual strengths to enhance team performance.
  • Knowledge and experience with marketing campaign measurement and metrics development
  • Experience working with a range of reporting platforms, analytics tools and data management systems used to manipulate, transform, and analyze marketing data (examples: advanced Excel, Power BI, Google Analytics, Semrush, HubSpot).
  • Experience leveraging datasets to produce impactful reports. Experience interpreting data, identifying key recommendations, and partnering with marketing team to implement changes that drive business performance.
  • Familiarity with WordPress and WooCommerce.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with strong ability to manage multiple competing tasks simultaneously.
  • Highly motivated self-starter with proven ability to work independently with little supervision on projects but produce remarkable results.
  • Ability to readily isolate, evaluate, and solve problems with sound judgment.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality both within and outside of the company.
  • Commitment to accuracy.
  • Dedicated to ongoing education for changes in industry standards and trends.
  • Ability and discipline to follow all company policies including safety policies and procedures

Education and/or Experience
Marketing degree or certificate with three to five years of related job experience; or equivalent combination of experience and education.
The Marketing Analyst will gather, analyze, and monitor data for our marketing campaigns and website traffic. This position will make strategic recommendations to develop strong marketing campaigns for analog (catalogs, brochures) and digital (website, social media) platforms. This position is also responsible for developing, implementing, and managing our PPC campaigns.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $1.00 per year
