JOB DESCRIPTION

In support of the company mission, the Market Specialist will carry out sales activities for selected accounts and areas of focus. They will assist in coordinating and executing sales and orders related to the Mortgage pre-licensing and continuing education business. S/he will be responsible for selling and assisting customers with products and courses to inbound leads while continuing to ensure customer satisfaction. No prior knowledge of Mortgages required; they will be trained in the initial few weeks of the position. This position will interact with clients, vendors, online users, and internal staff. The employee is expected to adhere to ethics, policies, and practices as established by OnCourse Learning.

Essential Functions
1. Receive calls from individual Mortgage Loan Originators interested in purchasing courses.
2. Understand the state requirements for Pre-Licensing and Continuing Education purposes and counsel customers as needed to facilitate their orders.
3. Track customer interactions and sales using Salesforce.
4. Partner with other sales staff to assist in supporting revenue generation.
5. Follow up with responses to questions on our products and course offerings.
6. Assist with other sales department initiatives.
7. Other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• 2+ years of experience in a sales or high-volume customer service focused position (e.g., 40+ inbound calls daily)
• Ability to work efficiently in a high demand, team-oriented, and fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills for customer interactions via phone or email
• Ability to accurately respond to inquiries and questions about products/services
• Strong computer skills with MS Office; good technical aptitude for learning CRM/Salesforce for tracking
