JOB SUMMARY FOR MANUFACTURING ENGINEER:

• Provide daily manufacturing engineering support for a large manufacturing company's CNC machining operation.

RESPONSIBILITIES FOR MANUFACTURING ENGINEER:

• 1st shift position but must be open to off-shift if production schedules change.
• 40 hours a week with occasional overtime.
• Safety shoes with internal metatarsal protection are required for first day. There is a possibility that the person will drive their personal vehicle to other sites for meetings.
• May also drive a Deere owned Gator on the shop floor after completing safety training.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE FOR MANUFACTURING ENGINEER:

• REQUIRED: 4-year degree in Engineering field. Manager is open to recent grad candidates. Must have working knowledge of CNC machining and have manufacturing experience. Creo, AutoCAD or Inventor experience would be beneficial. CNC Programming Experience, CAD/CAM Experience
• Experience with vertical milling, horizontal milling, and turning.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS FOR MANUFACTURING ENGINEER:

• PREFERRED: G-code programming, perishable tool selection, machine trouble shooting, & fixture design.
