Covenant Physician Partners is hiring a Manager, Project Management and Process Improvement to join our team either locally in Nashville, TN or remotely.

About the Opportunity

The person in this role is responsible for research and planning related to new and existing projects assigned by the Sr. VP Revenue Cycle Services and Clinical Applications. The incumbent must possess strong facilitation and project management skills and be familiar with the complexities and methodologies around formal project management. The manager will assist and provide expertise in the implementation of new projects as well as ongoing assessment and facilitation of process improvement opportunities within the Revenue Cycle and Clinical Applications organizations. Job functions will include planning, integrating, coordination, and evaluation.

  • Works in collaboration with the Sr. VP Revenue Cycle Services and Clinical Applications (or autonomously as directed) in all areas of Planning, Scope, Preparation, Logistics, and project Management control
  • Centralize and integrate all project plans and resources to ensure that project milestones are met
  • Develop documents as needed for assigned projects
  • Communicate project health and status to internal and external stakeholders
  • Manage operations and technology deployments and programs
  • Coordinate training as needed as it relates to implementation of new programs, systems, etc.
  • Establish and manage cross departmental relationships to ensure efficient and effective implementation and closure of assigned projects
  • Manage and resolve requests from external project partners
  • Identify areas for process improvement
  • Contribute to special projects as needed, including, but not limited to, product integration and user acceptance testing and process improvement initiatives
  • Participate as an interactive member of the senior management team.
  • Monitor and provide status of projects, escalate and manage issues/risks as they arise.
  • Facilitate corporate interactions as well as local operator interactions as necessary, both verbal and written
  • Participate in weekly internal management and project meetings
  • Work with Sr. VP Revenue Cycle Services and Clinical Applications and other Senior Management Team members and providers on any other special projects as assigned.

About the Candidate

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BS) preferred but not required
  • 3 or more years’ experience in health care project coordinator or management role
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification required
  • Proficient use of Office tools such as Outlook, Excel, Word, Visio
  • Strong written and verbal communication/presentation skills using PowerPoint, Google Slides, or other presentation tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Six Sigma certification preferred
  • Healthcare experience strongly preferred
