Join our WSECU team and make a big impact! We are looking for an ambitious and self-driven Manager of People & Culture Services to join our team. In this role, you will drive the innovation and execution of the Talent Acquisition strategy for the organization and building a strong employment brand, while leading a highly skilled Talent Acquisition team.

Your day might include:
Talent Acquisition
  • Overseeing the employment and talent acquisition, onboarding, employment brand and social media and related policies for PCS, including responsibility to recruit for select Executive positions
  • Driving strategies to improve diversity in talent pipelines, remove discrimination and bias in hiring processes, educate those involved in the hiring process, and inform stakeholders and employees of progress and results
  • Leading development of organization’s annual Affirmative Action Plan
  • Managing the Talent Acquisition team, providing direction, coaching, evaluation, communication and recognition
Employment Relations
  • Consulting and guiding employees and managers regarding employment policies and procedures, performance management, and other employee and work related issues
  • Investigating personnel complaints in accordance with WSECU policies, and applicable state and federal laws. Making disciplinary recommendations to the executive leadership
  • Consulting with leadership on challenging protected leave and ADA situations; coaching Leave Administrator as appropriate
PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT
  • Supporting the organization’s leaders in conducting management routines that tie to employee development and high performance
  • Supporting employees and leaders through training, skill practice, audit of routines, and supporting of new processes.
  • Presenting performance management routines and professional growth & development in New Employee and Leader Orientation
What you bring to the team:
  • Bachelor degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a closely related field; related experience may be substituted, in part, for academic achievement
  • Five (5) or more years of HR experience with at least three (3) years in a leadership role; related experience may be substituted, in part, for academic achievement
  • Strong Knowledge in all areas of employment law
  • Full understanding of human resources processes including, but not limited to employee relations and recruiting
  • Exceptional interpersonal, logical and communication skills and the ability to work with diverse employees and WSECU leadership
  • Experience using an HRMS (Workday preferred)
  • Excellent leadership skills
  • Experience professionally developing employees
  • Ability to work independently, and as a team member, while using discretion in decision making and sound judgement in problem solving
  • Experience leading simultaneous, cross-divisional initiatives and programs
  • Budgeting experience
Bonus Points if you have:
  • Financial institution experience
  • PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SCP
  • Project management skills
Competitive pay: $91,582.08 - $137,373.12 annually, dependent on applicable qualifications + Manager level discretionary incentive
Position location: 330 Union Ave, Olympia WA. Employee must reside and perform all work in the state of Washington. This is a hybrid position that blends working in-office and from home. Works onsite 2 occasions per week.
When you’d work: Monday-Friday, minimum 40 hours per week for this full time, exempt position. Scheduling flexibility is required to meet business needs
