Maintenance
Job Description

The basic function of the Maintenance Tech is to provide support for all aspects of plant, equipment and grounds maintenance at USC, LLC. This position reports to the Maintenance Manager.

Job Requirements

▪ Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

▪ License/Certification: Required: Valid Driver’s License

▪ Experience: Experience in maintenence required.

▪ Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities: Must be detail oriented, able to read a tape measure, capable of multi-tasking in a high intensity environment and computer literate and willing to work mulitiple machines. Self motivated. Team Oriented.
Manage conflict.

▪ Physical: Must have a full range of body movements including use of hands.
Able to lift 50 lbs. The senses of sight, speech (English) and hearing are required. Vision abilities must be sufficient to shift in focus from computer screens to printed forms.

Duties and Responsibilities

▪ Maintenance:
o Responsible for the maintenance of all aspects of the plant, equipment and grounds.

o Electrical and Mechanical Maintenance

o Forklift operations

o Trouble shooting and Diagnostics.

o Ability to read a schematic.

o Hydraulic repair knowledge

o Work directly with other departments as needed.

o Adhere to all USC safety policies.

o Responsible for keeping equipment and work area clean and orderly.

▪ Other Duties:

o Perform other duties as may be assigned.

Working Conditions

Primary work is in a non-climate controlled, smoke free manufacturing warehouse environment. Hours will be as scheduled.
