Montcalm Care Network is seeking a Licensed Nurse Practitioner to join a team of psychiatrist in providing evaluation and medication management for adults with severe mental illness. Candidate must have experience in the prescribing and management of psychotropic medications and in-depth knowledge of mental illness conditions. Experience working with co-morbid chronic health conditions and/or substance use disorder preferred.

Primary responsibility includes medication management. Additionally, provides technical assistance on the development of integrated health programming. Participates in multidisciplinary review of care plans and agency clinical quality improvement processes.

Employment Requirements:

Education: Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program.

* Fully Licensed in the State of Michigan as a Nurse Practitioner.

* Passage of required professional board examinations

* Possession of a valid State of Michigan driver’s license.

* Qualified Medical Provider under Medicare and Medicaid systems.

Schedule: Hybrid telehealth and onsite practice. Flexibility for a 4-day work schedule

Provides afterhours consultation to triage nurse on critical labs when needed. This responsibility is shared with other members of the psychiatric staff.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $120,000.00 - $135,000.00 per year
