Job Description :

Buckley Associates is looking for an individual who has exposure to the many various IT methods and technologies to work with our team. In this role, you will draw upon your technical abilities and inquisitive nature to identify, evaluate, and implement solutions to the businesses’ challenges. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to critically evaluate situations and take a hands-on approach to problem-solving.

In this role, the IT Specialist must be able to interface well with non-technical persons and possess problem solving skills to quickly and easily diagnose problems.

Additionally, the IT Specialist is involved in department planning, project management, systems integration and oversight of critical business systems. This is an excellent career opportunity for a self-motivated, goal oriented team player.

Job Responsibilities:

IT Specialist job duties and responsibilities

· Review diagnostics and assess the functionality and efficiency of systems

· Implement security measures

· Monitor security certificates and company compliance of requirements

· Offer technical support to company staff and troubleshoot computer problems

· Install and update company software and hardware as needed

· Anticipate and report the cost of replacing or updating computer items

Support of IT Services

· Establish strong working relationships with peer group of managers across each department and business unit.

· Ensure consistent delivery of our solutions, prioritize tasks of each effectively and provide technical mentorship and guidance to foster team growth

· Bring resolutions to complex situations

· Effectively communicate business needs to the technical team and technical solutions and recommendations to stakeholders and senior management

· Engaging external consultants and vendors when necessary.

Support Corporate Infrastructure

· SQL Databases

· Storage

· Telecommunications

· LAN & WAN technologies

· Security

Proactively monitor and audit health of environment

· Understand software applications and procedures

· Minimize network downtime due to maintenance and communicate effectively with affected users as necessary

· Manage asset database of all fixed company assets including desktop computers, monitors, scanners, peripherals, etc.

· This position is a ‘hands-on’ job interfacing with a user base of over 130 clients spanning six locations.

Job Requirements:

· Experience with Administration of Windows Operating Systems, Azure, Active Directory, Office 365, and Print/File Sharing

· Demonstrate ability to multitask with effective organizational skills with an attention to detail.

· Energetic and effective person with a positive attitude that is conscientious, enthusiastic, articulate, and possesses a professional attitude to handle a fast-paced work environment.

· Perform quality work and meet deadlines without direct supervision.

Education & Experience Requirements:

· B.S in Computer Science or Information Technology or B.S in any Engineering or Physical Science Field preferred

· Proven ongoing technology educational experience

· Demonstrated ability to multitask and prioritize aligning with department and corporate goals in mind.
