Job Description

A Lang IT365 Service Desk Analyst will provide Tier 1 support to customers experiencing hardware, software, and application problems; along with general inquiries from our clients. Technicians will perform basic troubleshooting on many types of hardware and software. This position involves providing technical hardware/software support for network, desktop, and server systems including OS, switches, wireless infrastructure, firewalls, running network cable, and third-party applications.

Daily tasks include:

  • Primary responsibility is ensuring every client experiences world class customer service and technical support on every contact.
  • Screen, refer, and diagnose customer inquiries and work requests as they relate to maintenance of personal computers and related systems.
  • Install, configure, and upgrade computer hardware and software.
  • Provides end-user hardware and software troubleshooting and support via inbound and outbound phone contacts.
  • Applies advanced diagnostic techniques to identify problems, investigate causes, and recommend solutions and provide documentation.
  • Exhaust all remote resolution opportunities prior to escalating to onsite response technicians.
  • Participates in the administration of e-mail systems (Exchange, Office 365, Google Apps).
  • Provides guidance and work leadership through peer coaching.
  • Maintains current knowledge of relevant technologies as assigned.
  • Participates in special projects as required.

Requirements:

  • Associates Degree in a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience.
  • A candidate with 2-4 years of experience in an IT environment with Windows Servers, Desktops and VMware/Hyper-V virtualization will be strongly considered.
  • Applicant should be comfortable researching solutions to issues independently.
  • Self-motivated with a passion to learn and grow.
  • Candidate should be proficient with desktop OS and common applications like Office and Anti-Virus.
  • Candidate should expect the position to involve 25% travel in Kentucky. The ability to provide your own transportation and sufficient insurance coverage is required. Mileage reimbursement provided.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35,000.00 - $40,000.00 per year
