The GSE iOPS Product Manager will be responsible for accelerating the commercial launch and sales of iOPS Systems within the JBT AeroTech GSE group. This position will work in the Customer Care function, liaising with commercial leaders and internal resources to review existing and planned customer value delivery and use cases, and to set targets for commercialization with an aggressive timeline. The GSE iOPS Product Manager is responsible for overall program management of GSE iOPS development initiatives and continuous enhancement of current iOPS offerings by driving results through detailed, hands on management, and disciplined tracking – while influencing and working closely with other departmental resources that are not direct reports. This position ensures the voice of the customer is included in strategic direction.

Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate strategic customer meetings to understand the customer needs, define & prioritize customer value, and support the launch/sales process.
  • Liaise with iOPS management team, marketing, and GSE management to develop and implement strategic iOPS plan, to include sales goals, target customers, and strategy timeline.
  • Develop and provide language and materials for marketing leadership for best practices on introduction and value selling of IoT technology to GSE customers.
  • Develop iOPS customer-specific, value-focused sales presentations with input from JBT AeroTech GSE iOPS and marketing management
  • Present iOPS value-proposition in customers sales calls, meetings, and conferences
  • Develop appropriate processes and effective language for customer contracts.
  • Effectively discuss and demonstrate value at selected trade shows and industry events.
  • Review existing and planned customer value delivery and use cases to establish iOPS commercial targets in a process supported by ELT members.
  • Establish baselines for PRoCARE with Customer Care management , prioritizing product lines having a large installed base, high warranty, and/or already achieving iOPS commercialization, moving best practices from pioneer product
  • lines to adjacent product lines, leveraging existing JBT tools and methods, driving collaboration on go-to-market plans, contracts and pricing
  • Schedule and drive regular follow-up on commercial progress and equipment configuration roadblocks (i.e. monthly review of progress against commercial and business unit product roadmap, jointly meeting with Customer Care and Product management.)
  • Schedule and drive regular follow-up with the AeroTech and GSE iOPS management team regarding iOPS system reliability, technical, and analytical functionality and user interface (i.e. monthly technical review of progress against iOPS infrastructure and technology roadmap.)
  • Communicate iOPS progress throughout JBT AeroTech GSE organization
  • Optimize the commercial approach of GSE iOPS on a global scale
  • Define improvements such as equipment or instrumentation to be implemented and refined by the product management and engineering functions.
  • Define improvements in the iOPS Platform based on customer requirements
  • Benchmark competitive applications and implement best industry IoT practices
Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, engineering, or related field
  • 5+ plus years in fleet management and/or fleet maintenance management (GSE experience preferable)
  • Customer Care, and/or Aftermarket experience desired.
  • Exposure to R&D processes, Program & Product Management, Lean Enterprise.
  • Comfortable with technical tools, with high technical aptitude of IoT
  • Strong focus and commitment to drive results.
  • Self-starter who can work with numerous internal and external stakeholders
  • Collaborative and productive leader who builds relationships, establishes influence, and solves problems.
  • Hands-on style – this position will have many individual deliverables.
  • Ability to work strategically and at the detailed tactical level with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Experience working across various time zones and geographies.

Training Requirements (licenses, programs, or certificates):
Production process control, budgeting / cost controls, Syteline, Lean Leader Training, Understanding of Business financials: P&L, Capital Investment / ROI planning, Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word etc.).
