Job Description :

As a Mylo Insurance Operations Manager you will lead and manage key operational initiatives that optimize and scale our digital insurance agency. You will be responsible for working with internal and external partners to analyze effectiveness, make recommendations and optimize our procedures. Our ideal candidate has experience working with insurance carriers and product automation.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage projects geared towards meeting operational goals, adding efficiencies and driving excellence in our sales and service operations
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for questions related to systems, procedures, workflows, insurance products and coverages
  • Partner with carriers to validate appetite, acceptability and eligibility
  • Monitor adherence to procedures, including system usage
  • Serve as an escalation point for operational issues
  • Work cross-functionally to assess and analyze effectiveness, and provide data-backed recommendations
  • Collaborate with our technology team to optimize workflows and systems
  • Act as a liaison between staff and vendor partners, including outsourced vendors and resources
  • Build, optimize and document workflows and procedures
  • Provide data, analysis and reports for senior executives as appropriate
  • Other duties as assigned based on the needs of the business

Requirements:

  • Three years of experience working in a startup or high-growth organization
  • Experience with automating insurance products or processes
  • Ability to thrive while adapting quickly to changing business needs
  • Excellent project management skills, working collaboratively to ensure all areas of the business are moving in the same direction
  • Previous experience with an insurance agency management system
  • Verified technical expertise in areas of commercial lines P&C insurance
  • Familiarity with Salesforce
  • Previous experience in Vertafore’s AMS360
