The Information Systems Specialist provides operational support and administration support of the Microsoft Servers, Blades, running Server 2012, 2016, 2019 MS-Exchange and VMware.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES
Core Competency is the demonstrated ability to carry out the primary responsibilities listed below:
1. Maintains all servers located in-house
2. Maintains all computers, local and wide area network equipment.
3. Maintains virtual private network hardware which enables remote connections to facility for various reasons and uses.
4. Continues to update skills by utilizing educational resources and attends staff and in-service meetings.
5. Annually completes Swank training modules and assessment as determined by the facility

6. Maintains VM environment.

7. Maintains the storage systems.

8. Maintains the backup systems.

9. As indicated by circumstance of any given project, carries out written communication and researches tasks as appropriate.
10. Provide technical support as needed at all levels within the organization.

11. Performs updates as required to maintain to the different software and hardware packages.

12. Helps with interoperable between different systems both internal and external to the hospital.

13. Maintains printers and any other devices attached to computers or the network.

14. Performs other tasks as assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Education Required:

• Bachelor Degree in a related field preferred.
• VMware experience required
