This is a full-time position for a multi-state company headquartered in MN.

Responsibilities:

• Timely and accurately reviews payroll, including master file maintenance, adjustment calculations, payroll verification through the use of the ADP system.
• Ensure and maintain compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Preparing and maintaining various human resources records, including employee files, ensuring accuracy, compliance and confidentially of information (i.e., I-9s, tax forms).
• Handle new-hire onboarding, including HR processes and procedures.
• Assist with employee termination process, including notifying 3rd parties, deactivation of network access, and conducting of exit interviews where appropriate.
• Update and maintain employee handbook.
• Help with annual filings and annual insurance audits.
• Review monthly health insurance and ancillary benefit bills for accuracy.
• Assist employees in signing up for benefits upon eligibility date.

Job Requirements:

1. Preferred Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or equivalent. Concentration/degree in Human Resources and/or PHR certification is a plus.

2. Previous HR Generalist experience of 3-5 years is preferred.

3. Good interpersonal skills to deal effectively with a wide variety of people promoting a positive company image.

4. Independent decision making skills and ability to work independently.

5. Highest level of morals, ethics, and honesty

6. Advanced computer skills (Knowledge of Word, Excel, & PowerPoint preferred).

7. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
